Congrats on a great win yesterday.

Sep 22, 2019, 8:11 AM

And I say "great" because Dabo and the coaching staff and the team handled it the right way. I didn't see the game (Thanks, Comcast) but did follow it on ESPN scoreboard. Listened to Dabo's post game presser. Pure class and dignity.

Pulled Trevor early. Pulled all the starters early. Played 111 people. Didn't try to run up the score, but let the third team, 4th team and scout team run the offense. Challenged those strings on defense to play up to "the Clemson standard." Didn't try to embarrass UNCC, but let his young players get game experience. Great coaching opportunity.

Clemson, thanks to the leadership of Dabo and the culture he has created along with the great coaches he and his staff are, is truly "living the blessing."

Now, for a few other random thoughts:

If USCe is looking for a coach, there may be a couple of big names availablee: Jim Harbaugh and Mike Leach. (Wazzou up 49-17 late in the third and loses!)

There appear to be six teams head and shoulders above the rest. Time will sort them out, but when it does Clemson will still be at the top.

I despise ND. But, there defense was much better than I expected.

California schools are tough. Just ask the SEC. Cal beat Ole Miss and San Jose State beat Arkansas. As they like to say, "It's tough to win at home in the SEC."

My Noles won, after it looked like we were doing what we did for the first three games. Play 1 quarter and then swoon. But, we still stink. Only about 30K in the stands yesterday. I don't live within 200 miles ot Tally. I expected the attendance to be down, but nothing like that. Seems like folks are hoping for a 6-6 season.

Once again, congrats and keep winning!

Hey, FSU found a way to beat a Power 5 Team. That’s a start!

When Loserville came roaring back, y’all coulda folded but didn’t. That’s something to be proud of.

Not sure I would go so far as to say "proud" but it is at least a step in the right direction. (The emotion most fans had yesterday was "releif.) I'm hoping it is a trend. What I'm looking for this year is what coaches talk about all the time during off season workouts: Improvement.

We aren't ready to compete for the ACC championship, or even the division championship. Long way to go to get back to where we want to be (competing for national championships). I'm just looking for us to get closer every week. A little bit closer every week.

‘visitors’ side of the stadium we see from the normal camera angle. Was that a statement on on Taggart, the AD, or both?

That is the side that has vistitor seating. But the visitor seatng is in the right corner (from the camera angle on TV). The corner you saw on TV is part of the student section. (They filled up the endzone, but not the corner and the sideline.

I think the announced crowd was 32K or something like that.

It is a reflection of two several things.
1. It's easier to watch the game on TV.
2. We're losing. Fans are spoiled. (6 years ago we were national champs.)

But, the number one reason is fans are extremely concerned and upset over the direction the team seems to be headed. After losing to UVA there were many fans thinking 3 wins was our ceiling this year. It's gonna take winning, not just talking about winning, to get the fans back.

Thanks. I thought yesterday was beyond normal disgruntled

attendance. Never seen Fl State so poor though. Some solace in not folding after Louisville came back, that was new for this season.

Y'all MUST FIRE Willie Taggart.

Sep 22, 2019, 9:38 AM

That has to be the worst coaching hire in CFB history. Believe it or not, many of us here want FSU to be strong again. Y'all have the talent to be, you just have an idiot flat affect robot for a coach.

That was the smallest 30k crowd I have ever seen. Looked like about 10k on my tv.

Looking forward to our matchup next month. FSU still has some talent on the roster and will give us their best shot

A strong FSU is vital for ACC and college football in general. Hurry it up Willy!

Is Clemson kinda your backup team for now...

Clemson has been my "back up" for years. I have always liked them, even when Charley Pell was coaching. But (being a Bobby Bowden fan) I started following them more closely when they hired Tommy. Tommy is the closest, in character and integrity, to Bobby than the other two coaching sons are.

And, when Clemson fired Tommy and hired Dabo, they did it with dignity and class. Tommy, Dabo and Bobby all talked about the situation. Tommy and Bobby both were very supportive of Dabo. The Clemson AD did a great job in the way he handled Tommy's dismissal.

Clemson is a class act.

I'm not trying to be a "fair weather fan" and just jumping from one team to a winning team. FSU will still be my #1 team. (I was an FSU fan after Bill Peterson left and we went through Larry Jones and Darrel Mudra before hiring Bobby.)

I like Clemson, and I admire the program Dabo and company have built.

And, since Muschamp and Spurrier were HC at Florida, it makes it easy for me to cheer when the ##### lose. We have that in common as well.

I haven't heard the seriousness of Blackmon's injury, but Hornibrook sure gave an electric performance.

Too bad for you he's in his final year.

Great Post! From someone who was a college student in the stadium for the puntrooskie, the FSU rivalry is a must.

Please throw a good punch at Florida, maybe an upset?
