Clemson Track & Field at ACC Championships Today: Day One (Televised)

The Clemson men's and women's track teams begin their quests for ACC titles up in Boston today. The meet runs through three days, beginning with competition today, followed by Friday, and then wrapping up with the last day of events on Saturday.

The first event of the day to get the meet underway is the women's pentathlon starting at 11:00 AM, to be followed by the men's heptathlon beginning at 11:20. The first field event is the men's weight throw at 3:15 PM. The opening track event is the slower section of the men's 5000 meters which starts at 4:05 PM. Then at 6:00 PM, coverage shifts over to this link, here: https://www.espn.com/watch/player?id=7b1b58ef-d7f8-484c-96c3-2084f2201644 . I'm not sure why they break the coverage up into two separate streams that you have to switch between halfway through the day, but that's how it's arranged. Once the second broadcast starts, it should carry through until the end of all competition each day.

The men's weight throw (the first field event of the meet) has been pushed back to 4:00 PM according to the schedule. No indication given as to why, maybe they decided to line it up with the broadcast.
