Clemson Receivers

In a four receiver set. You’re the coach. You have your choice of any Clemson receivers, past or present. Who would your four starters be? I would start Nuk, Sammy, Martavis and Mike Williams

This is a dumb exercise that I would normally not participate in but why the heck would you leave out Renfrow? Arguably the best receiver to ever play for Clemson.

I like Renfrow, and think that he was a really good receiver, but I just happen to think those four would be better. Just my opinion. What would your four be?

Refrow can't be left out. You always have to have one sure

He is the most beloved receiver. He is not close to the best WR. Let's get real. He is great though.

With out a doubt in the slot is Renfrow. He’s doing to same thing to NFL DBs that he did in college. No other slot receiver is better that we have had. I’d take Nuke, as the #1 overall WR and go to guy. M. Bryant had the most potential of them all but he was inconsistent in college and couldn’t stay of the field in NFL so I’m leaving him off. Mike Williams and Sammy are the other two I’d go with.

To all the ppl saying that Renfrow should be on the list and he’s the most sure thing receiver, you’re crazy. Deandre Hopkins is the most sure thing receiver that Clemson has ever had
My answer is: Deandre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Derek Hamilton, Mike Williams

You'll need two slot receivers in a four receiver set. You'd be crazy not to have Renfrow in the lineup.

I’ll take Nuk and Sammy in the slot, Mike Will and D Ham on the outside.
Just like last year when we lined Diondre Overton up in the slot, there’s nothing that says you can’t have stupid fast and super athletic guys in the slot

Did any of you ever see players like Perry Tuttle, Jerry Butler or Dwight Clark?

That’s a great four but as has been mentioned I’d have to put Renfrow on there. I’d sit Martavis.

What about Dwight Clark? A better pro receiver than all but Nuk ... Clemson just lacked the forward pass in that era ...
