Baseball is a funny game. Carolina has as good a team, if not better, than we've had in the last 4 years. Whether our play reflects it or not, remains to be seen. I do know this, this series is "Big Time" for us both. Our state plays some serious baseball, throw in Coastal and we've got the trifecta.

Yeah the state of SC, in my opinion, is one of the elite. Especially with Sakerlina, Clemson, Coastal, CofC and El Cid...That's 5 potential postseason teams right there

I don't think anyone, us included, knows what kind of team they will have after only 7 games.

USC 2012 Baseball team was worst of the 4 year run. I think they lost 2 staring players in lineup and 1 starting pitcher. Read the State the other day and they said this is the best team they ever had….. not sure on that but they said this is best starting rotation they ever had. Starters this year haven't gave up 1 run. Impressive. But Friday night is our best chance to beat them. Montgomery is there ACE. But Gossett can pull out the victory. Saturday may also be a good chance as well. But Sunday they suposley have a freshman who has won honors 2 weeks in a row and only allowed 1 hit in 2 starts. We need a sweep here tigers. Y'all need to show up.

You are right. The year we won our first National Championship Tanner made the statement at the beginning of the year after a poor start that we were due for a down year. We rebounded and went on to win the CWS. You never know this early.
