Senior Day will be emotional: "Oh, I'm probably going to cry"
Sometime after 3 p.m. Saturday, members of Clemson’s senior class and eligible juniors will stand at the top of Death Valley’s iconic hill and start their last jaunt down as a player. It’s an emotional time for those players, their families, and the coaches, and you can bet that more than a few tears will be shed. Full Story » |

I know I'm not the first to use that phrase, but It's appropriate.

It happens every year and it never gets easier, especially with the skill guys guy that we hear about and hear from almost daily, those are the hardest not to talk about for the next couple of seasons....

If he gets the Clemson rushing record, hes gone. As probably the most physically demanding position in football, I would expect him to enter the draft. The only other possible holdup would be draft position. If expert advice is hes not a 1st rounder, he'll return. (Yes, i believe hes a 1st, but my opinion doesnt mean much)

Yeah, I hope he goes. He deserves it.

However, one more year with him, Tlaw, Ross and young stable of receivers...would be easy to like.

The other factor is that our coordinators don’t abuse our running backs (think of the carries Henry had in his last year). We spread the ball around so we’ll that the chance of injury is low and the time to improve strength and skills and therefore draft stock is great.
Agreed, it will depend on where he is graded.

He is first round talent but the way the NFL views RBs he will likely go in second round Gordon and the kid from BC will likely be the only one or two taken in the first. He should definitely enter though!

As hard as the media try with their word games with these kids trying to trick them into saying things that isn't the way that is but they lead them with the way they spin it with their questions, but our kid are well aware of how the media is trying to lead them to say that isn't the way things are. Those kids are always so well versed with how to manage the media, that they don't get caught up in the media word games, they see those types of questions coming before those media guys can get it out their mouth. Our coaches do such a great job in preparing these kid for life actually. When they leave after their time is up, they are ready to live and manage their own lives pretty well!!!
