they are drooling mouth-breathers. and obviously have a deep-rooted inferiority complex, combined with feelings of inadequacy.

Nope…match ups are uneven at best. Then we have the opt outs (quitters) and motivation issues. It’s like trying to determine the best league from the all star game

Nope. Just further proves that conference pumping is stupid as f###. Pick 1 team to root for, not 12-16.

Not really. Because of all the opt-outs there was great parity over the course of the bowls.

Did other people from the acc play in bowl games?

One thing I can glean is for some reason Clemson is in your head since you are on here in the evening posting. I’ve never been to a Georgia fan site and never will.

Not much especially these days. I actually think it’s more like a pre spring game live scrimmage.

Not so much these days. Once upon a time bowl games were taken seriously

by teams. A bowl game was a reward for a great season, as there weren't so many. The players took pride in wanting to end the season on a high note. I remember when we played in the Gator Bowl in 1977 & 1978. This was unbelievably huge. The Gator back them was considered the "5th best bowl" just a notch below the big four played on New Years Day... the Rose. Sugar, Orange & Cotton. You didn't have a shot at a nat'l title, but it was a good matchup of Top 15 teams. And Clemson fans were ecstatic to go, we overran Jacksonville and flooded em with 2 dollar bills.
But over the years as they kept adding more bowls and watering down the quality of teams, the significance of making a bowl game was lost. You started having mediocre 7-5 and 6-6 teams, etc. It just didn't mean that much any more. Now it means even less, players just don't care, and they'll transfer, opt out or declare for the draft. If you're not in the playoffs, screw it. You get a lot of teams missing their best players. So to answer the question - No you cannot glean much from bowl results.

If the SeC had a better bowl record, we’d hear more about it…

But as it is, no one is paying attention to the parity. Opt-outs and transfers are everywhere. Becomes an acceptable excuse for teams that lose their bowl game. At this point, I don’t think it moves the needle on anything in regards to next season…media will over-rate some teams on the front end, the usual suspects, and teams will get ‘credit’ for beating ‘ranked’ opponents in the first few weeks and then those teams will go 6-6 or similar. Whatever helps Bama usually. Narrative is well established by the time the CFP committee starts doing their work.
