For the most part, I think fans that were advocating for his benching while at Clemson feel vindicated for taking that stance and I feel confident by the end of today, Clemson and Oregon St will be sitting at the same record.
Was he the only problem? Nope. Was he the solution? Nope

well, pepe's on this board and others made it an issue when they pointed out "look how good he's doing at OSU?" it's Dabo, its our coaching, Cade sucks should kept DJ.... blah blah blah...
Well looking at the schedule there were two big games for him to prove himself... look different than when he was at Clemson...
He looked very similar to his time at Clemson in those two games, last night being his big shot... granted, as I pointed out in a different post, Oregon State's defensive secondary was pitiful ... that is not on DJ... but his offensive performance was mediocre... nearly every criticism about his quarterback play was reinforced ... I hope he gets better coaching.
DJ above all else is a Clemson Grad and a genuinely good person. This is about his play on the field.
SC trash talking does nothing but lower us to their level, why would we do that? Settle it on the field.

DJ was big Stinko, and I still big Stinko in my book. I don't give a ratler's ### what people think/say about my thoughts or posts. This is a football forum, yes? I agree, his play is pretty close to being non-football related. Point taken. Thanks
