I think going 'national' is a route for failure. I'm glad the SEC doesn't do that.

Seems to me, as much time as you spend on this board you really want to be in the ACC…

No, I'll let you enjoy being in that conference. My best friend played football there and so did his dad years before that. I'll go away.

Clemson has beat as many ranked SEC teams as Tennessee since 2015. We have more SEC conference bragging rights than Tennessee does. SEC!

Clemson also has a better SEC record in past 20 games. More wins against Bama, lsu and Georgia since 2012 etc

Same number of wins vs top 5 teams comparing our 6 year run between 2015-2020 and Tennessee 50 year run between 1972-2022

Of course he would. Tennessee might have finished over .500 in conference play more than 6 times in the last 20 years if they were in the ACC. Not many more, but probably more. And only if they had been in the easy division, like they’ve been in the SEC. Wow. 14 years below .500 and they play on the easy side of the SEC.

Also they are playing at Auburn Sept. 7 too. Auburn played at their place last year so add on more miles.

Can frequent flyer miles and the associated future free flights be used to sell NIL?

In the NFL, it is documented that West Coast teams that have to travel to East Coast teams are disadvantaged and fail to play up to potential, which is why sometimes a WC team will arrive several days early to account for the time zone difference, etc. Back in 2012, the 49ers came to Atlanta like four days early and my friends and I spotted them around town (got an autograph from Patrick Willis and saw Kaepernick through a window at Hooters).
These ACC WC teams won't have the luxury of arriving that early. I figure they'd fly in on Friday (?) and have just that one night to adjust. If we are playing them at noon, that should be a huge advantage because their internal body clocks would perceive it as a 9 a.m. game. Our playing in the Pacific time zone wouldn't be nearly as great of an adjustment. Just sleep in as late as you can and then plan for a 11 p.m. game.

2 questions:
How does this fit into the Green agenda?
What impact will these flights have on the turtles?
