Screw Cal. Not interested in travelling to Dallas to watch a "neutral" regular-season game against a bunch of marxists, either. Bad enough having to travel to Syracuse. Now this. This is a bad deal for Clemson, all the way around. There is a reason Clemson voted against adding Calford. Precisely this.

This means Clemson and others will lose a home game some years.

That way fans of neither team can attend. Can really see that brilliant Cal mind at work.

I'd rather just visit Berkeley and Palo Alto instead. I'd probably make it a week long trip to experience Northern California and Yosemite as well.

Maybe for the games that are supposed to be their home games. I don't see Clemson agreeing to any of that, and I don't believe that's an area that the ACC can make Clemson do anything they don't want to do in regard to home games.

I think its a brilliant idea. Cal and Stanford have such great home attendance when they play at home. Imagine how great attendance will be when fans get to travel to Texas to watch a game. Plus fans in Texans are ravenous for Cal and Stanford. I expect standing room only type crowds.

That sounds like a concession to SMU for not taking $ for 7-9 years.
The Dallas areas still gets the financial benefit.
Clever actually.
