What is the deal with our coaches? Scott, TE, Morris have had terrible success as HC. I'm not sure what gives. Love them all, just odd

But your headline is BV struggling. He’s 4-0, ranked #14, winning by 20, and is only in his second year after losing half the team when Riley left. So doesn’t really seem serious. Elliott is also in his second year and anyone ignoring the uniquely horrible situation he’s had to deal with to get a dig at Dabo is problematic, at the least.

Where did I mention Dabo? Takes very small research to understand I'm not a negative poster. Was just a thought after I was watching "maybe you weren't so you misunderstood" Iowa state go back to back scores to make it a game and the OU fanbase after going 6-7 was livid.

Also, based on your reply you probably don't read much, I was posting this based on OU fan replies while giving up multiple scoring drives to close the game in. Timing is everything.

If OU isn't happy with 5-0, I don't know what else VB can do. Doesn't mean he's "struggling", as you clearly state. He's not. 5-0 is... undefeated.

No big wins and 6-7 last year. They're used to a smooth transition like stoops and Riley who didn't miss a beat and made the playoffs year 1

Their team was raided through the portal, some by the previous coach. He seems to be doing fine right now and I believe he will continue to be a very good HC. It’s weird he’s the one you choose to title your thread after though.
The other three coaches are terrible HC’s, I don’t think anyone is shocked by that.

OU had 17 players enter the portal after Riley’s departure. 10 were 4* or better. By contrast we lost three 4* players and people post non-stop that we’ll be permanently young because of all the top talent we’re losing to the portal. Keep trolling.

I'm repeating what I see on message boards about not being happy with BV, not my own opinion. Not sure how that's strange. My main point of the post was the combination of coaches we produce that look bad, but everyone wants to sound right with 1/4 examples.
