It's not fair to either team. Not to mention it ultimately eliminates the possibility of both teams making it to Omaha. It's complete speculation at this point, but hopefully the committee will not do this again.

Not sure I follow. Are you implying the committee has a vendetta against Clemson? Not sure I buy that. It's 100% TV ratings. The committee cares far more about the bottom line than making the tournament fair. From what I understand both ADs have consistently complained to the NCAA about matching us up in the post-season.

What's unacceptable is the fact that Jack continues to field teams that don't win enough to host a regional.
Four short years ago Clemson ended the seaon ranked 4th and playing in the CWS. Since then Jack's teams have under performed every step of the way.
Will anything change before the 2015 season?

Until Clemson gets good enough to host its own regional, this is fine with me. Gives the Tigers another shot at the Coots. If we lose, hats off to them. Clemson has nobody to blame but Leggett and then the AD if he keeps Leggett. Plus I live in West Columbia so it is easy to go to the games.

Our baseball team is average. The folks on here that berate Jack Leggett are the ones who also whine about our losses to the Dirtpeckers in football.
The sad fact is that they have been better than us in both for half a decade , and though it is certain to change in football , baseball is less likely to do so.They are known now across the USA as a baseball powerhouse, with that comes recruits and a full on flow of money from the conference that's name cannot be uttered.
Clemson probably should be viewed as a middle of the road progtam on the baseball diamond until these times of despair pass. Hopefully JL gets it going again

I agree Doc. Some our fan base sound like the chickens used to sound when used to beat the tar out of them in everything. I remember numerous posts on FGF about them just dropping us off their schedule. Quit being a bunch of no-fight pxxxy's!
