I'd offer to send you some more white robes and hoods to wear to pay you back, but you're probably good on that end.

It's always funny and ironic when Christian Conservatives throw out "indoctrinate ".

I'm guessing you don't consider religion "indictrination". Please explain how it is not.

Angry? LOL. I'm having a blast. Abusing Trumpkins and slapping them around like a pimp slaps a ho is fun.

If you look around college campuses it is obvious that the so called "progressive " philosophy has been pushed hard. Today's progressives, especially on college campuses routinely try to deny conservative speakers to speak, try to shout them down if they are allowed to come....Clemson students recently tried to block a conservative speaker from coming and then tried to rig the ticket distribution with fake tickets. In the past conservatives tried to block free speech. Now the left wing hates opposing viewpoints.

Probably not as I imagine some baby shark or some other mindnumbing #### would be preferred by the toddler.
That being said, a toddler is generally working to master the task of not ######## himself rather than working on grasping social ideology. So again, explain to me what is exactly being indoctrinated on said toddler?
I'm going to assume you don't have a problem with teaching little children not to be racist? I'm curious why so many people here have such aversion to anti-racist sentiment.

That’s not teaching the toddler to not be racist. That’s a parent teaching the kid that’s he’s a victim of racism. He doesn’t know what that means but the parent is pounding the message early on. When the kid grows up he’s been “indoctrinated” to believe if he fails it’s because someone else is a racist.

Listen, I don't know how much experience you have with toddlers, but if you think these shirts are somehow teaching kids that he's a victim of racism, you may want to spend some time with one. Again, not ######## themselves. Watching the most absurd YouTube children videos on loop. Knocking #### down and breaking anything that's in reach. Having a meltdown because they have to put on shoes to go outside.
Slapping a shirt like this on em ain't teaching them anything. That's a parent showing off their ideology with their kid as a billboard.
And even when the kids are old enough to grasp the concepts, those shirts don't tell anyone that he's a victim of racism. Y'all are being very snowflakish over this.
Do you think it's okay to push religion on a kid early and often? If so, why?

The shirt is all about the parent. I get that. But it will pay racist dividends down the road.

I can slap a Clemson shirt on a toddler and teach him "Go Tigers," but he doesn't really get what I'm pushing. That won't stop him from deciding to pull for another team when he is old enough or choosing to attend another college.
And you dodged the religion question. Are you okay with pushing that on a little child?
Again... you haven't also stated what the problem with anti-racist messages are?

You can slap a Clemson shirt on your kid as a toddler. Will you stop teaching him to be a Clemson fan as he grows up ? No you will keep pounding the message. As for the religion question, you put “racism tried to steal my joy” on your kid. I’ll put “God loves you” on mine. Mine probably wo t grow up feeling like.a victim.

But look what you're doing. You're claiming one form of indoctrination is fine because it's your style of indoctrination. But if someone else pushes a message you don't like, it's somehow wrong.
I can give a laundry list of why forcing religion on a kid at an early age is bad. But you know what? That's the parent's choice. Either way, it's indoctrination. You can't be upset at one type and then think it's okay to do another.

Ok let’s do this. How about I agree I’m “indoctrinating” my kid with “God loves you”. Seems like a healthier indoctrination to me. You said religious indoctrination can damage kids. I agree there’s some bad religion out there. But God is not religion. Religion is man made.

Is that where it ends?

Simply with, "God loves you"? Or does it extend into ideas that unsaved people are going to hell, that homosexuals are sinners, that women should be subservient, that a lot of science teaching is BS, etc.?
How far down the rabbit hole does the indoctrination go?

Yes, unsaved people spend eternity apart from God in hell. We are all sinners including homosexuals. Women are asked to submit to their husbands but that does not mean servant in the way you think. Men are challenged to die for their wives if need be. Science eventually catches up to the Bible. Just give it time.

I didn’t prove anything. You disagree , you reject Christ, you see Christianity through eyes of anger and resentment. I have no idea why, only you can answer as to why. You don’t need to explain that to me or anyone else. But you would be wise to wrestle with the question.

Hold up, don't move the goalposts. I'm not trying to have a religious/philosophical debate.
I argued that it's still indoctrination into a parent's ideology, and you proved my point. And you're okay with it as long as it's indoctrination that you agree with.
That speaks to the hypocrisy of your original post. You don't have a problem with indoctrination; you just have a problem with kids learning views you personally don't like.
And you still can't indoctrinate a toddler.

I think you just dodged there. But regardless, back to the original. I don’t see “indoctrinating” my kids with the love of Christ as similar to teaching them to view the world through the lense of racism. You and I disagree. It’s ok.

Putting a T-shirt on a toddler ain't indoctrinating them to anything. And if it's a white T-shirt, have fun with that.

My goodness. You are correct. You can not indoctrinate a toddler by putting a tee shirt on them one time. It’s the beginning of a parents world view being taught. The toddler doesn’t understand. He will in time. But fine just put the dang shirt on him.

However, it must be said, people wear cringeworthy stuff all the time. Why, I saw a gal wearing this just the other day with no shame whatsoever either. My eyes.
