Not making excuses, we could have won both games but didn’t. Coop looked gassed at the plate today. Him going 0-4 is uncharacteristic. Let’s continue recruiting and hopefully bring back our 1-5 hitters next year! If Coop and Grice come back we could be scary. Just have to add 1 or 2 bats.

Actually they played better than both teams ironically. A lot of times in baseball the team that plays better doesn’t win the game.

Orange colored glasses on, that we are better than Tennessee. Their pitching is VASTLY superior to ours, and hitting was just enough better to win.
The Umpires sat the heart and soul of our team on the bench for this last game, and we evidently have NO backup hitters. If we did, no way would a kid that had not had an at bat all year before last night wind up in the DH slot today.
All in all, just a sad crash and burn ending to a season that honestly exceeded expectations. Congratulations Tigers on a highly entertaining season, let's learn from it and have a better ending to the movie next year.
Oh, no, it's, it's.....Dark Territory. Gonna be a long one, after the way the Softball AND Baseball seasons ended. And the bowl game in football.
Better times are ahead. Unfortunately, they are groups of weeks ahead.

Coop and Grice are gone, Coop out of state tuition and Grice will be a top 5 rd pick. Taylor could leave as well with his age I think, but can't remember if he was a reclass kid or not.
