To me it says that over an extended period of time you have displayed the ability to adapt to and overcome various unexpected and changing conditions & circumstances WITHOUT FAIL and use your available resources and creativity to consistently overcome all obstacles.

Seems like it ought to at least get you a shot.

'Bammer struggled all year against weaker competition. FSU outscored their last three opponents 98-34 using their 2nd and 3rd string qbs.

this year and UCF should have gotten a shot back in 2017...

But hey - if FSU somehow finds a way to beat UGA in the Orange Bowl maybe all the folks on here whining over FSU getting ranked #5 can contribute to their "The Real 2023 National Champions" banner and hang it in Doak Campbell next year when Clemson pays them a visit...
