Barrett Carter/Jeremiah Trotter

These are two Linebackers that both land inside the 1st and 2nd round of the draft.

These 2 may be the deciding factor of this game. I believe in our secondary to hold their own. Really no doubt in my mind. They’re that good.

Therefore, Travis is going to want to use his legs A LOT. Carter needs to be able to get sideline to sideline. He will be gassed by the end of it.

But if he can help limit Travis there, he will have to force more throws and they will need to establish a run game. Which they won’t do that either.

Trotter is also needed for that same purpose, but we need Trotter to really get physical and plug those gaps in the run game.

For me, Woodaz will be the key when he is in the game because he has more speed than Carter and Trotter.

I doubt Woodaz has more straight line speed. But he seems to have a better understanding of what the Offense is doing, plays with more “effective speed”, because he anticipates better and is a sure tackler.

They both need to play UNDER CONTROL

Biggest issues with both of them is they tend to get reckless and go all kamikaze and will overrun the play or miss the tackle due to poor fundamentals.

If they play to their potential and do their jobs relatively mistake free we have a good chance...and pound Travis every chance you get...when he gets rattled he is fun to watch...hope Cade has a great game as well!

I feel Carter is overrated and will not go

Round 1 or 2. Trotter meh.
#12 Parker has Bern the most impressive on our team and even he doesn't have the type build you see kn Bama and FSU players.

No doubt Parker and Woodaz have flashed. They both look special. Wiggins has looked great too.

I haven’t seen them live up to the hype as yet. Based on production, I don’t see top2 rounds for these guys. If they post amazing combine numbers, it could give them a chance for late 2nd round, but I doubt it.

If they turn the season around and start living up to the hype, it would certainly help their cases.
