I am certainly no college basketball expert. But the AP poll just came out and I find it curious that the 1-2 Maryland Terrapins are getting 34 "Others Receiving Votes" while Clemson got zero. Even after beating the two teams Maryland just lost to?? Interesting

Hey, if the experts say that losing to a mediocre team is better than beating a mediocre team…..then I believe them.
My astrophysics expert tells me the Sun will rise in the west tomorrow. So I’m looking forward to that.

That fall, we played Maryland in Baltimore. A buddy and I bought leftover seats on a fraternity charter bus, and we slept on the floor of the Maryland chapter’s house. That was a poor decision on our part, but even poorer was one of the fraternity brothers’s decision to break into Cole Field House and steal the name plate off of Bias’s locker.
Memorable trip for a number of reasons, but I will never forget the classless move by that one guy.

Hmmmmm………so why do we need a poll on events that have already happened?
I gonna go waaaaaay outside the box here….and say that sports pollsters should watch sports. If not, let’s get input from people that live under bridges, it’ll be far more interesting.

The AP is irrelevant as it no longer factors in to the NC rankings. AP writers don't matter.
I wouldn't waste anytime thinking about it. But, if you're annoyed because you're expecting National Media types to validate Clemson that's different.
It sounds like your seeking validation from people who just do not matter anymore.
