Heart vs. Head
Heart vs. Head
I had a conversation at lunch the other day with some friends about believing you or your team will win. I never played a game where I thought we were not going to win. Not as an eight year old and not as an adult. Never.
As a fan, I have never gone into a game knowing

because it has absolutely nothing to do with how he plays the game. He's a thug, but he's a talented thug who can play football until he ends up in jail.

ing a ball in the stands against OSU. He has only 3 td passes with 2 interceptions - now he is suspended - a writer needs to note these things in his write-up to be completely objective instead of just bragging about him.

Mickey is not reporting here; he is sharing some thoughts

This is not a feature on Winston. Like you, I am often frustrated with shoddy journalism. Not here though. I am not in Mickey's listening area, but read his blog daily. So I can only comment on what I see on Tnet. Mickey makes no secret of his love of everything Clemson. He does not like Winston any more than you or I. But he does not have to bring up Winston's thuggery every time he mentions how dangerous he is as a QB.

We are talking about his playing ability, not his character. He is an elite QB, who easily eclipses Cole Stoudt. Deshaun Watson, on the other hand, is at Winston's level talent wise. Our glaring weakness is our OL. We don't need another humiliation on national TV. Our coaching staff doesn't seem to do well in preparing us for this type of premier game. We don't seem to be a physically tough, smash-mouth team. Our OL is pathetic. Hate to say it, but I think we lose, and maybe big-time.

I could hardly believe it when he said we shouldn't be an underdog to FSU. What universe is he operating in??
