Not yet. Iran hasn't even received the funds yet and this was planned for long before the agreement to give Iran their 6 bllion back. I am still disappointed they will be getting that money.

If I were them,I wouldn’t exactly dig my heels in too deep while standing behind their favorite goat in the Gaza the next few days. Noticed the democrats are all perplexed after the videos of the ######, kidnapping , and at times killing of innocent woman. Supposedly help is on the way, biden promised 10 new abortion clinics in the next week.

Cannot imagine what the families of those who’ve been taken hostage are going through. I saw on the news an interview with a woman whose elderly aunt and uncle were kidnapped, along with their daughter, her husband, and their 3 year old son and 6 month old son.
Also, a woman was pleading for the return of her 12 year old and 16 year old sons.
God be with them.

Those hostages are as good as dead. Israel will not negotiate for them. If whatever Qatar is doing can't get them freed (not likely) then their chances are just this side of none. There is no way that the Israelis will stop whatever they are going to do in Gaza after the number of deaths that the original attacks caused, so a prisoner swap would be the only thing
The sad part about it is that there will so much more death and destruction to come. Don't forget that hezbollah is also Irainian backed and could open up a second front. And then before this is all over Israel will have to wrestle with what if anything they are going to do with respect to Iran.

You can only push people so far before they do something desperate. Take their land and relegate them to a thin strip, block food and medical aide, allow Israeli people to steal their houses in certain areas, etc… There will be no winners in this war and it’s unfortunate that this is happening.

You fail to mention anything about the Arab-Israeli War, Egypt, Palestine, or any other county's influence over this situation over the last 75 years.
Just saying there is a broader picture to understand other than the limited view you presented.

The response is overly heavy-handed. I know their innocent Palestinian civilians will pay the price, but I would have a hard time believing they didn't know what was all around them and what they were allowing to continue. I'm not sure what Hamas thought they were going to accomplish other than getting their strip wiped clean. Israel is going to send a message good and hard, and they should. And quite possibly the last one they'll have to send.
