We played horribly. We were outplayed and outcoached by in inferior team. KB was injured and we froze up, unable to make proper adjustments. Even BV’s squad was unprepared and undisciplined. It was an embarrassing loss.

But, let’s be real. We don’t deserve to win every game. We don’t deserve a national championship. You have to go out, bust your behind, do all the little things, and earn it... and even then you have to get some breaks. And guess what? That’s what we did last season (and nearly the year before, and still possibly this year), so feel free to be upset about a loss like this and to point out errors, but please get real.

If you criticize Dabo about going to Bama to celebrate his college national championship with his teammates and to enjoy celebrating his coach whose health is rapidly declining, then you are an idiot. You probably go get drunk with your old frat buddies to relive that time you hit the game winning home run in your Sunday afternoon wiffle ball league. Coach Swinney is the best thing that has happened to Clemson sports easily in the last 40years and possibly for its entire history. Critique his coaching decisions and the loss, but when you turncoat your stupidity and poor character show (and that goes whether you think you are a true Tiger or not).

Calling for the scholarship of a back up kicker and questioning recruiting further show your idiocy. How many guys have we truly “missed”on? I’ll take our recruiting success any day.

We need to get healthy and refocused. We need to step up and play like we are capable, but this is still the best era of Clemson Football and after about 3more seasons it won’t even be close.

Really Good Post CRobb. We are still an elite program but even Elite programs get in their own way sometimes. We are just as talented as Bama dispite what Finebaum says. He is a lot of mouth and shows his ESPN biased towards an above average to average SEC. And just because we lost Friday night the C word no longer applies to the “Elite Clemson Tigers” but there will be those who try to bring it back every time we lose a game.

I still believe the best is yet to come for Clemson football. Sure Dabo and his staff IMO made some bad decisions against CUSE but Syracuse played well Friday night too. Their receivers hurt us all night. I would say this weather we had won or loss but the refs gave Cuse a little help. I thought the officials were a little biased in favor of Cuse.

We had an off night but we have to learn from this loss and move forward. Dabo and Co has also made many great decisions too. My two complaints about the game is that I did not think KB should have started Friday and the team played without a lot of emotion. But it happens to the best of teams.
