by the time January rolls around and the Tigers will be just fine IMO
Once the team gets into ACC play it will be interesting to see how this team performs.
I say top 4 ACC, at minimal 1 ACC tourney win... and NCAA at large bid as a #8/#9/#10 seed
More than anything I would like to see this team play well together, hit free throws, rebound well, and keep turnovers to a minimal.

i expect them to show promise at the beginning of the season... i expect to lose a lotta close games in ACC play and i expect not much in the acc tourney and i expect nothing in the ncaa tourney.

I never expect much there no matter how good we are. Hoping for at least one tourney win in the NCAAT, and if we make it to the sweet sixteen it would be a resounding success of a season.

Looks like we have a lot of kids than can contribute also which should be a nice attribute for a long season. Seeing Girard find a shooting groove yesterday was great, and the Hunter Bros. each look to have taken a step forward and each seems comfortable in their role.
Regardless of the competition level at hand, we've shown a lot of patience and confidence tipping things off here and a nice base to work with going forward. Staying on the positive side of nailbiters from here, and having a deeper pool of hands available to help keep some of our classic but maddening scoring droughts at bay should pay big dividends.
I haven't watched much of any other hoops so hard to tell how we stack up, but this is a stronger and deeper roster than last year, and Brad's assistants have an extra year under their belts with us. Multiple post-season wins in both the ACC and NCAA tourneys are well within the picture.

If they can avoid the usual early season disasters of quad 4 losses and losing in the first round of crappy holiday tournaments so we play for the 6th place "trophy," then I think we can make the NCAAs.
Let's do that before worrying about anything else.
While I think the team made adjustments against Davidson, we still appear to "live by the 3/die by the 3."
Also, missing free throws will cost us games. It almost cost us against Davidson.

Neither. Slow starts and poor FT shooting will kill Clemson in ACC play.

It's WAY TO EARLY to be thinking that far ahead. The team needs time to gel with all of the newcomers.
