What did they think was going to happen? Did they think because SB was a nice guy, young, a position coach, he automatically could catch Dabos lightning in a bottle? Muschamp left a dying program in shambles. They botched up the hiring process due to politics and everyone’s infighting and landed on a position coach. This is the exact outcome any reasonable person would expect

It is almost like SCAR tried to hire a Dabo clone: young position coach who is a nice guy. But there is more to Dabo than that. They underestimated or overlooked all the other great qualities of Dabo. Dabo is a perfect fit for Clemson.
And Beamer Ball only took his father so far. He had a few good seasons, but was never considered one of the best coaches.

This is an underrated comment. The guy may have won 238 games at Virginia Tech, certainly consistent, but there is a reason his teams were never a major player on the national level, save for when Michael Vick was his QB. He also had the misfortune of coaching during the heyday of coaches like Osborne at Nebraska, Spurrier, and Bowden at FSU, all of whom won national titles (and Bowden won both of his as a member of the "lowly" ACC).

It's easy to think of names they probably could have gotten that would have been better than Beamer.

The word “show” I think subconsciously make people think this Dude is more then he is. He is a guy with a podcast who make social media posts. Most 14 year olds can do that same. Having watched a little of his content, I would get more out of watching a 13 year olds perspective on College Football. If the top three worst T-Net posters had there own show would be the Clemson equivalent of this dude.

I’d still watch them.

He keeps talking about his recruiting class next season.... Unless Beamer sells out for an O'line in the portal, they will have another Gamecock season.

I don't have the stomach to see what Carolina Jackpot has been spewing. I am sure it is epic.

He was surprisingly quiet last night. Maybe He finally figured out that historically awful program wasn't worth having a stroke or heart attack over.

What “pieces” did they have returning? It looked like the cupboard was bare except for Rattler and Leggett. 3 of their best players are playing for different teams this year

Keep in mind Legette had 18 catches last year.
