First game you ever attended in Death Valley?

Mine was 1966 as part of my visit to Clemson as a high school senior. We had moved from VA the year before. Game was vs Virginia …. What a co-incidence. We won and I was hooked as a future Tiger.

My grandfather (Class of 1924) took me. I was 8 years old. Clemson won 20-14.

1959 as a HS Jr. North Carolina State. We won but I don't remember the score. I remember we had a really good team that year and won the bowl game. Don't remember the name of the bowl we played in. I think we won 9-10 games that year but could be wrong. Of course Frank Howard was the coach.

1999 versus Marshall. Nobody deserved when that game. Ugly game. 13-10 Tigers missed a game tieing FG at the end. Tommy bowden's first game at Clemson

Very possible. I was sitting in the end zone and I remember pregame watching our field goal kicker missing a lot and telling my wife we are in trouble if it came down to a field goal.

my date was my future wife (of 50 years now). We have been all over the country since those splintery wooden seats. and Hooties horrible coaching couldn't run us off.

1958 Clemson vs UNC. I was 6. Very hot day. Dad took my brother and me under a shade tree by the west end zone. Not too far from where i have had season tickets since 1975. Coach Howard’s 100th win.
