He can take all the time he needs. He isn't leaving school until he wins a national championship, remember?

means they're still in the running this year. Jake may enter the draft if they win the Natty.

I just know I’ve talked with SC fans who said they would win the east this year and possibly beat Bama for the conference championship. They said that Clemson would probably win between 5 and 8 games with one of the losses coming to them. They are a delusional bunch.

usc Fans are still claiming it!!!

They still are!
A clemson fan called into one of their radio talk shows yesterday and said usc had a talent problem.
The radio guy went ballistic! usc is covered up in talent on offense - said Bryan Edwards would be starting as a WR at Clemson. Clemson guy said we recruited him as a SAFETY. Looking at our depth chart - Edwards would be 4th string at the 9 WR behind Cain, Overton and Higgins. He was ranked far behind them coming out of high school.
Until usc figures out they don't have talent. Someone in Columbia needs to say "the emperor has no clothes."

It stems from a simple misunderstanding. Strong was what you heard, but they were actually saying their offense would be "wrong". It happens all the time.
So they have been quite accurate.

It is just typical South Carolina football. It has always and will always be an inferior program to Clemson. Coots cootin' and making excuses. ??

it seemed like they were a little better until the loss of Debo. He was their only big playmaker.

106th in total offense 96th in first down offense 54th in passing offense 122nd in rushing offense 124th in redzone offense 107th in scoring offense
Is this not an improvement? Those are some pretty potent stats. Imagine how good that offense would be if Jake Bentley was the age of a normal college sophomore.

Once the Deebo Samuels threat was removed from their offense

it took THE major threat away from opposing defenses schemes. The chicken offensive line is comparable to FlaSt's and their run game can be shut down with little effort....the problem is, their next best receiver--TE Hayden Hurst is being limited in his attempts because he frequently has to stay in and block. I, too, think Bentley's skill level has been overblown by a bunch of overly optimistic chickenfans but its difficult to tell exactly how good he is because their offensive line sucks so bad.
Their defense has actually been a bit better than last years product. Not saying a lot.
But Clemson will destroy the chickens once again this season......and on their home field briefly in front of their fans.

I could not possibly agree with this, it is assuming too much! You need to keep in mind that this is the last game of the regular season, do you really think the Coots will have any fans in the stands by this time? That is highly doubtful that there will be any Coot fans there, even an idiot does not wish to attend their own execution, but on second thought we are talking about the Coots, and we do all know how delusional they can be!

They are definitely offensive, I can easily smell them from here in Clemson.
