Zyn - Two weeks in now and I think I'm a convert.

First off I started this about 2 weeks ago on whim. I've dipped for years, decades really. A good 1+ can a day habit. Have kids so it's a PITA hiding dip cups, spit, etc. and I can't do it around people because they can see it, etc. I've tried snus and it gave me the #####.
Anyway, Zyn is different. Cost about the same as my standard Skoal Classic Long Cut Straight. But there's no tobacco in it, like at all. Dipping somewhere north of a can and somewhere south of 2 cans a day I went for the 6mg strength and found it to be satisfying, maybe even more than Skoal. You can keep it in and no one ever knows. No spitting. You can swallow it without heartburn or #####. You can drink anything you want with it in, just can't eat obviously. I can have it in and inlaws, parents, kids, wife, no one can tell. But the best part is no more gum irritation. Like zero irritation at all. Same nicotine, or better. They're very mild, and the taste lasts for a good hour easily. I always put dip in my lower lip, but this goes in your upper lip. You can even smile and no one can see it.
Anyway, would recommend for anyone who smokes or chews, and especially for anyone who dips. Its' a game changer. Easier to use, more discrete, won't make your stomach revolt, tastes better, and doesn't have tobacco at all. Ingredients are ph balancers used in all kinds of foods, artificial sweeteners used in all kinds of foods. Vegetable fiber fillers. And pharmaceutical grade nicotine salts, derived from tobacco but containing zero of the other 6,000 chemicals. Comes in a 3mg and 6mg strength. And 6mg is more than enough to work for me. Not saying this is for everyone, but it works for me, much better than dip all around. Definitely worth a try. Just remember it's much slower working. You can keep it in much longer than a dip. It takes a good 10 minutes to get the taste. Probably about the same for the nicotine. But it LASTS, like a long time. An hour easily. In fact, you can fall asleep, and wake up after 3 hours or more, and take it out and no irritation. If you've ever passed out drunk with a dip in, you know your gums will be hamburger meat after a few hours.
Just satin....worth a try.

I didn't know dip did all that stuff to you with the gum irritation and heartburn if you swallowed it.
I got my first chaw of Red Man when I was about 12, from my dad when we were on a fishing trip. That stuff smelled way better than it tasted. That was my last chaw of Red Man.
I have had dip from time to time in my life, playing ball, golf, fishing. Copenhagen, Skoal, etc. It basically makes my head swim and I feel nauseous, so I never have had the hankering for it. It's always been a better thought for me (dippin', being cool) than it has been a reality. How long are you supposed to keep a dip in? I always thought it was an all-day deal (several hours anyways). Shows you what I know. Maybe that was my problem.
I bought a can of something a few years ago that I think was made out of kudzu vines. It was nasty.
I'm glad they have come up with good alternatives. About time. Should help lots of people.

I usually dip 30 minutes. Usually no longer than 45. I've fallen asleep with dip in for 3 to 4 hours and it will tear your gums up. Anyway this stuff seems better. Just replacing one addiction with another another. But it's better. No doubt about that. Best part is no spitting and no one can tell.

Will have to give it a try.
FYI, I dip and use this, which is what my dentist recommended me.
It really helps with the gum irritation.

Levi Garrett basically killed my dad. I mean it was his choice to do it for 40 years, but I dont think he ever really thought of the consequences. Chewing and dipping is some bad stuff and guarantees cancer.
