Has anyone cancelled or called to cancel their subscription? If you discuss cancellation are they offering additional funds or incentives over the $20 refund?

How did you find out you could pause billing? Did you call customer service?

I cancelled it and asked for a refund. Cancellation page and refund page are not in the same place. I searched something like "request youtubetv refund" and top result was the right place. The money I had paid was refunded and I just checked to make sure and can confirm it has been refunded. Since my monthly subscription payment had just gone through I was refunded the entire month. I assume it would be prorated if I had waited a week.

Outside of telling them to get it worked out or I'm gone, I did not discuss anything further.

Further thoughts - free of charge since you didn't really ask :)

Hulu Live is not as good as YTTV in many ways:
1. It's not as stable. I have to soft reset the app at least once a weekend (we only use the live component for football) because it starts going fuzzy and then back to hi-resolution. YTTV never did that.
2. If there is a way to switch back and forth between 2 channels without having to open the channel menu and selecting the channel and then further having to select between watch live, start from beginning, etc. I have not found it.
3. Hulu does not have Multiview options if you used that on YTTV (though I think the ESPN app has it, or will have it soon).
4. You have to watch all the commercials. I didn't realize how much I appreciated "enjoy the zen" until it was gone.
5. This is a personal problem, but now that my wife has Hulu and my kids have Disney I'm going to face an uphill battle cancelling it after football season is over.

The one big pro for switching to Hulu is they have the sports channels YTTV doesn't have and since they're the main overlord that shouldn't change.

We have Fubo running now but my wife hates the Guide, so we will probably go back to YTTV when they settle.
