Need for Creed?

So, I was talking to my long time friend/neighboring tailgate buddy after the game on Saturday and he kept saying “dabo has something up his sleeve for Wake.” After like the 4th time of him saying that I finally asked him what he was talking about. Apparently, and this guy would definitely know, Dabo has lined up the band Creed to play a concert before the Wake game.
At first I thought it was kind of silly, but the more I think about it, I think it is a great idea for a number of reasons.
1) This is the way the game is going and finally it looks like Dabo is willing to adapt. For instance, Deion had Lil Wayne play in Boulder before the Colorado State game. Maybe this is a sign that he is going to be willing to adapt on other things-NIL and transfer portal.
2) The band Creed accurately depicts our core values.
3) It will just be a fun time. Look, we can’t win the natty every year, but that doesn’t mean each year can’t be special. It would be an experience our team and students will remember the rest of their lives. Some things are bigger than football.
Let me know if I’m wrong here-but I sure hope I’m not.
