Clemson to lose three in a row to them that four in a row has to mean the Clemson coach gets fired.

I'm going to deal with with them talking another year of crap if we lose. Coach being fired or not.
Let's not worry about what happens to Dabo...because we have to beat them to keep our sanity. Seriously. Beat them, and Dabo staying takes care of itself.
Is that not an elephant in the room? There's no other way. And I don't see how any fan can be satisfied with our season if we do what hasn't been done in God knows how long --- and lose to those ##### for a 4th straight year.

I hope Dabo stays for a long long time. Losing to Carolina wouldn't in and of itself cause his firing. There would have to be multiple losses before that one.
Wouldn't surprise me. Clemson is smart about it's football. If it ain't broke ... don't fix it. If it is ... best do damage control as fast as possible.
The ACC is in trouble, the SEC is thriving. SC is doing the things we should have done years before. If you love Dabo, love him. He's my man too.
We worry much more about the SEC than our rivalry. But I hope nobody takes that away from us on either side. We're blessed in SC to have such a fun event(s).
Don't shoot the messenger. I'm sure the truth will hit some raw nerves. The truth will also set you free.

You say you don't care about the rivaly as much as the SEC

All last year the things your fans were talking about was SEC east champions and beating Clemson. After you lost the SEC east to UGA all you cared about was beating Clemson. Once that happened you guys cheered, laughed, celebrated, made rings, made books, etc. If you were really mroe concered about winning your division/conference you would use beating us as a nice concelation prize but still be upset that you lost the East and a chance to repeat as divison champs.
Even the coots on this board, you being one of them, come on here and talk about beating us and how great it was yet few if any talk about being disappointed about not winning the SEC East.
I actually got into a heated argument with a coot when I said you guys whould have been more proud of 10 then last year becuase you actually beat us and won the SEC east. He said last ear was better becuase you won 11 games. That's pathetic. He'd rather take 11 games and no conference championship then winning 9 and winning the East.
That's the kind of thinking that your fan base has been plagued with forever and the reason I doubt you'll ever win anything significant.

You're putting words in my mouth. I wouldn't trade the rivalry for anything, but ... Clemson just isn't as relevant overall anymore, nor is the ACC in football.
And if we focus on the SEC, well, teams from lesser conferences won't be something we think about August - November. They won't be used to playing powerful teams week after week.
Regarding Dabo, with your schedule, I don't see him losing enough games this year for another loss to South Carolina being enough to get him fired.
Peace Out,
Davy
