or near the goal line. Even at Notre Dame game last year, we had the ball with less than 2 minutes left in regulation, but N.D. got the ball back and tied the game. Like tonight, we had the ball with just a little over 2 minutes left, yet I.S. got the ball back. That happened several times this season. I think it is because the coaches do not trust D.J. so they get all conservative. If DJ cannot gain the trust of the coaches, then he needs to be replaced. Personally, I like the guy and hope he gets his knee fixed and impresses the coaches in the Spring? Or whenever he comes back from knee surgery???.

We have not been able to run out a clock reliably in a decade. Every team knows we are running between the tackles when the clock is under 4 minutes and we have a lead. I would not put this on DJU.

Yeah, it was disappointing to see them get conservative on offense once they got the 17 point lead and then run into the backs of the offensive linemen when we just needed a first down to run out the clock on that last drive...
