Chase Brice

From what I've read on here lately a lot of people don't seem to be giving him a chance.
Over the summer I was lucky enough to get a tour of the FOF and watch about 15 minutes of practice. CB was running the scout team against what looked like mostly 2ND string defense with the exception of KW and IS holding down the safety spots.
CB was carving them up. He is a stud! He made all the throws. He is very quick on his feet and gets the ball out quick as well. I can definitely see him passing HJ on the depth chart this year.
I'm not a a talent evaluator by any means, but I have a feeling CB is gonna shock a lot of people around here.

of his awards and achievements, and none of that means much, really. What really does mean something, however, is praise from Dabo, and Dabo has gone out of his way to make sure that folks know that CB is the real deal.

I hear you ST but I'd rather have 2 more 4-star O-linemen

than six ultra-talented QB's taking up space in an Offense that can't currently pass.

Can't argue with that! We won't continue to recruit highly rated QB's if we can't protect them.

you may be correct, but what about this?

if cb could not get to #3 on this year's depth chart and the only change to next year's qb roster is the addition of trevor lawrence; what is the basis for your thinking?

Didn't HJ enroll early and get spring practice? CB didn't. Every other QB was more familiar with the system than CB was.

Hunter Johnson enrolled early and Cooper had already been in the system a year. No matter how talented he was, it's tough to come in and crack the top 3 in 2 months. Even then, even if he was the third best QB, why bother playing him? The #2 will get backup reps, and the #3 QB will be on the field in garbage time like 3 times a year. Don't burn a redshirt on that.

He is the 2nd best QB on the roster starting in the Spring.

He is a stud. I have watched his camp and I watched his film. If I had my way he would stay around as TL's backup. He will get plenty of PT and then would be a starter for a year after TL went pro. Brice would end up a 1st or 2nd rounder.

KW was not starter or co starter til 2nd half of the season. IS has been 2nd team but very good.
