Out the window. Elite programs don't collapse like this. With the exception of the ACC Championship game last year, we have lost to every single team with a pulse. The only reason we got to the ACC Championship was because the ACC sucked so bad. Now with other ACC schools using the portal like crazy we're finding ourselves quickly at the bottom of the barrel.
Do you really think we could beat Duke?? I mean what games on our schedule other than Furman would we be favored in? Could we actually be favored to win? None of?
No matter what Dabo says this program continues to go in the wrong direction.

Clemson is a historically above-average program that had an incredible run to win two national championships. College football has always been cyclical, and with NIL and the transfer portal changing it to be essentially semi-professional, Clemson is on the back foot. Like it or not, other programs have more resources to draw from.

He doesn't have the NIL money that the truly elite programs have. He's made mistakes in hiring, I'll give you that much.

I hate to tell you but we paid over $15 million for this roster on the field…. We’ve got the money to he competitive. SMU spent about 9 million for context.

I agree with almost everything you said. But our NIL level is respectable and in line with where one could realistically expect it to be.

Clemson has the resources and money to compete with Indiana, Vanderbuilt and others.
Your god has chosen not to use those. He is responsible for that neglect

Our NIL usage is at expected levels. We have started using the portal. Statistics show that most portal players are no better at their next stop, so your ilk pointing at a couple outliers and going "see! see!" just demonstrates a lack of understanding on your part. Plus, turbocharge portal types here never even bother to say anything about how they’d deal with a 2-10 Norvell season. Just "well Norvell just sucks, that’s not on the portal!"

We’re not elite anymore but appreciate Dabo for bringing us into that atmosphere for a few years but it’s obviously not going to work out for the future,
Best of luck to him and his future, but let’s bring in new blood, with new energy,& a new direction while our brand can attract it before we’re fighting over all the coaches fired by the better programs hoping they’ll do better here… which never happens

We have the resources to be competitive. Not to repeat the obvious… but it’s about coaching and players. We have neither to be competitive.
Dabo needs to get experienced coaches at all positions, not projects.
And he needs Jimmys and Joes. Recruiting has fallen off and minimal use of the portal results in a lackluster roster.
Together, we get this result.
