hear that silence?

Yep, it's CM. Not heard from or held accountable by any reporters since Sat's game. And he's not coming forward. I find this very odd - and maybe one reason we aren't getting over the hump. Our media isn't tough enough. THis is the second year now this has happened. I have a lot of questions for him regarding this game, but he has "vanished".

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the article where CM said it stinks to lose and that he and the team are hurting. It was on the front page of Tnet. HTH

We had 29 rushes and 28 passes. And more rushes in the second half than we did in the first, and that includes at the end of the game when Tajh was forced to throw to stop the clock. So no, we didn't abandon the run, although I know uninformed posters like to use it as an excuse.

way too many times.
Most disturbingly on a nice run at mid-field when tied 17-17 and driving while enjoying all the momentum in the world.

That was the last game of the season. It's not a normal week. No one's hiding from you.

We are definitley doing better than we have in a while but at the same time still losing to USC with the addition of CM. We will beat USC next year and start our own winning streak is what I believe. USC just has TB's number and he lets them get in his head with all the chatter. Scared or not they get to him. I suffered through years and years of bad coaching and am happy now with ther direction of the program.

is for all the pundits and sarcastic ones on here, whether they want to listen or not:
We all have a right to probe million dollar coaches on the particulars of their game planning and strategy that led to being taken to the woodshed for the fifth time by our arch rival, even when we had more than ample talent. If someone disagrees with this, as some apparently do, I'd like to hear their legit reasons why.
Our media is soft and won't ask the hard questions, and this may actually be part of the problem. I think that's reasonable to look into also.
Being away on recruiting: sorry, but in an electronic age where plenty of other commentary is offered from places afar, this is not enough reason to lie silent on the topic.
You will probably find that come Sun or Mon or Tues, you won't see CM or DS offer much of anything on the game decisions or how they once again got schooled by Spurrier. At that point it's going to be "well, it's al water under the bridge, we're moving on."
Last year, the same thing happened, only it was questions about why we gave up with two mins left and punted, etc - once again, no accountability. And look where we got to a year later - the same boat.
Without hard questions being asked by the media and passionate fan base, programs stay at the mediocre level.
Is that what a lot of you really want? It sounds like it. One poster actually told me to be "silent". Why would you be silent about things that need to be addressed? That makes no sense.
It looks very much like me that the Ole Ball Coach is schooling our coaches pretty good on late Nov. Sat's each year, and I can accept this, as long as we learn from it. But are our coaches learning? Maybe they are not.

coaches are on the recruiting trail...ESPECIALLY Chad Morris to get good players for our system & hopefully some BIG O-linemen!!! I think Stoudt or Kelly or Watson...whoever takes over will be set up pretty good. Go Tiger!

Has Spurrier won the SEC at South Carolina? Has he figured out the answer to "why not us?"

losing the turnover margin 16-3 (or something like that) in the last 3 years.
Last season was one thing but nobody should be putting this season's loss on the defense. It's hard to defend drives that start 30 yards from the end zone.
