you diamond in the 2015 rough?

Jan 15, 2015, 12:55 AM

I like Gage Cervenca from Emerald. Wrestling experience isn't something to be ignored, especially when it comes to interior lineman. If you want to learn a few lessons about leverage, go three periods on the mat.

Your thoughts? Let's hear some good opinions.

Agree. Hopefully Gage can finish off his incredible career with his fourth straight individual state championship and fourth straight individual national championship.

Looked great in that Siemoer Fi Bowl. Needs a redshirt though so we won't run into another year like this year with a bunch of linemen leaving in the same year.

Will have a great career here.

Carlos Watkims. I know he's been around for a while but this off season will make Watkins ready to be a force up front

Maybe not next year but i do think he will be a good one

I have a coot friend who worked at the myrtle beach all star game this past year and told me that we have a good football player coming to clemson next year. I asked him who he was talking about and he said LeSamuel Davis. He said Davis was basically unblockable the whole week at practice. I do think Davis will end up being a starter but he needs a rs year to gain some weight and muscle.

I used to wrestle and play football during the same year a couple years ago, granted I had to stop because of injuries, but man did it help. I went to state for wrestling my 8th grade year and yes i know the competition level is much smaller but its a small scale example. Anyway being a wrestler i wrestled 185 and then 195 my freshman year and i must say it helped me so much with football. Right off the snap i was blowing people up and it was because of my wrestling technique. Leverage is huge and the most important part about also being a wrestler was my stamina. Wrestling conditioning is the hardest conditioning of any sport and that 100% helps.
