I am currently vacationing on Amelia Island and today we have our Clemson tent up enjoying some cold ones with the family. Anyway as I am packing up a guy walks up to me asking if I am ready for the upcoming season, so oblige and have some small talk.
He made a comment that caught my attention saying that I can't believe you guys managed to pull the top recruit out of my state. Turns out he is from Ohio and is a Middle School football coach who happened to coach none other than Mr Carmen. I told him that I didn't think that was a done deal and he grinned. He claims that everyone knows he is coming to Clemson.
Again, take it for what's it worth. The guy wasn't an obnoxious Ohio St guy or anything. Very polite and sounded somewhat credible.
Hopefully he's right.

From Carmen's perspective, if you look at the last game Osu played and the last game played by Clemson, how can there be any doubt which program is locked in on winning championships. His comments after his visit to Clemson, showed that he was really shocked by what Clemson has to offer and the feeling you get being on campus surrounded by the great people and players that make our program so successful and exciting. As stated above, I think he waits til the end to commit to avoid the I am disappointed conversations.

I don't buy it.
Honestly, there isn't anyone we're recruiting right now that I think Clemson actually
leads for (uncommitted)- although, everyone knows that won't hold true, but..
just saying.

Why not give the OP a bit of credit...and follow the 'bouncing' offers? Yes, offers have been extended. But...would commitments be accepted? Doesn't anyone think some of these latest players with offers wouldn't JUMP at accepting if they could commit? Think about what you see...read...and then ask yourself a question or two?
