Price gouging at the PGA

I just read that a Michelob Ultra at the tournament will cost you $16. If I were attending this year, I guess I’d have to call J. G. Wentworth before I went.

Man that’s insane! I’ve been to Kiawah a bunch. They are usually only about $14.

consider golf to be an elitist, rich mans sport. The lone exception is the Masters, where food and drink prices are, relative to other tournaments, very reasonable.
I still remember the sticker shock I got when I walked into the pro shop at Harbour Town in the early 80's, intending to buy my wife a souvenir gift. This was when you could buy a women's sweater at Walmartians for about $5.
I walked out of there $48 (plus tax) poorer for a Harbour Town ladies pullover sweater, which was about the CHEAPEST garment I could find there.

Pretty ridiculous prices for very mediocre food at the US open and Indian Wells

Wife is about halfway through radiation treatments and doing well.
I am doing well also, except that not being able to drive following surgery has me housebound and getting an extreme case of cabin fever. The surgery alleviated a LOT of the constant pain I had going down the right leg. Hopefully the fusion "takes" quickly, so that I can hobble after them little golf eggs again soon.
Thank you to all who prayed for us, and please continue to do so. It works.
