what Clemson so disparately misses.

DJ has the arm but not the consistency nor the receiver..

nor an OC willing to go there often since he knows what is missing to call it.

Smart observation.

Streeter clearly recognizes it, although (similar to the baseball pitcher who throws one at the batter's head), the occasional downfield shot helps to keep the opposing D honest.

But given our lack of the correct WRs to get open and/or to win the contested passes, we can't expect the deep shot to succeed except on very rare occasions ... or if the D has an assignment bust.
