DJ has the arm but not the consistency nor the receiver..

Smart observation.

Streeter clearly recognizes it, although (similar to the baseball pitcher who throws one at the batter's head), the occasional downfield shot helps to keep the opposing D honest.

But given our lack of the correct WRs to get open and/or to win the contested passes, we can't expect the deep shot to succeed except on very rare occasions ... or if the D has an assignment bust.
