Which issue is of greater concern to you in our opener against LSU
1. The ability to run the ball effectively
2. The ability to prevent LSU from running thru our defense

Tough to say, but probably 2 until I see us do a better job. On the other hand, 1 we have no idea about.

I would be shocked if #2 appears to be a problem.

team speed both sides of the ball; a bit more concerned with how the secondary handles the speed of their wideouts if we can't get pressure with some regularity without giving up numbers/relying on the blitz...rolling the dice to create a pass rush vs a veteran QB/possible rnd 1 NFL draft pick

My X FACTOR is Chad Kelly teams up with Brian Kelly and jumps out the stands and tries to start a fight with Dabo taking his mine off the game. Swag is crazy and Brian thinks Death Valley is in Baton Rouge double crazy.

2 no doubt. Though it’d be nice to have one, We can manufacture offense and score without much of a run game (see Texas game). If we can’t stop the run, we are cooked (see Texas game).

Punting! If we can't flip the field like last year, it could be long night.

We actually ran the ball well last season until we insisted on only playing a gimpy RB. However we rarely stopped the run like we've come to expect so I'm more concerned about #2.

If we do 1, we win for sure.... If we don't do 1, we still have a good chance to win.
If we don't do 2, we probably lose... If we do 2, we probably win. What really boggles my mind in today's game of college football is coaches show time and time again that even when they are able to run the ball at will, they don't have the patience to just run it and still try to have "a balanced attack". I'm from the school where you run it until they stop it.
So I'm going with 1.
