It appears many of the players with the biggest NIL checks are not giving maximum effort, although I have yet to see official numbers or even an official NIL contract. Either way, we can agree their game performance has not been worth the money we are paying.

Is it possible to make NIL amounts performance based? Cade gets paid based on yards, or points, or QBR or whatever metrics that seem to fit. Same with the D Line and receivers. You get a small, base NIL payment and the rest is based on actual performance in the game. This would create incentive for the highest paid players to give maximum effort instead of mailing it in when the game gets hard. Just a thought.

Nah, that would be fair game. You can negotiate any contract you want with players. But what 5 Star would agree to such a scheme if only one team does it?
