Would Dabo get fired if he finished 4th or 5th place in ACC

every year, lose to rival 75% of the time, go to the Tire bowl or equivalent every year AND lose? If yes, then Jack should be fired. That's the equivalent of what his baseball program has become.

ACC baseball is stronger overall than ACC football. And Dabo is batting .176 against USC.
Stupid to compare the two.

Coaches, even good ones, can only live off of past accomplishments for so long.

Does that funding cause fielding errors?

Does it make a team with one of the top batting averages in the conference choke with runners in scoring position?
Does it make a bullpen loaded with upperclassmen essentially worthless?
A coach who winds his players up tighter than an 8 day clock can cause the first 2, and a pitching coach who wasn't actually a pitcher and does nothing to develop his pitchers does can cause the latter.

Well, does that funding cause a football team to have 10 critical TO's in two huge rivalry games, or does that funding prevent a very highly paid QB coach from teaching (over 3 years) a very gifted, and by all accounts, hard working player from learning how to throw the ball correctly, so that his throwing motion won't have to be completely overhauled when he gets to the NFL? Two sides of the same coin, my friend.
