Worst RB's in Clemson history?

Sep 27, 2014, 8:43 PM

Dabo bragged all off-season about how deep and talented we were at RB, and I was eager to see it.

Four games into season, I find myself very disappointed and wondering what the heck he was seeing.

I've followed Clemson football since 1978 and I can't remember a worse group than we have now. Am I wrong, and when was it?

he looks like a difference maker.

Imagine if Dalvin Cook would have stayed committed???

The only other 4-star guy left is Choice, and he's a true frosh. The other guys were three stars or walk ons.

I think it's more the offensive line than the RBs. I haven't seen many holes for them to run through. Gallman drop on the pitch was bad, but the line has to start blocking better.

I agree, our O-line is crap, but a RB needs to be able to break a tackle every now and then. Ours get hit and drop like a sack of potatoes.

It seems to me it's more of an OL problem...the holes just

aren't there. I do think losing Brooks hurt a lot though, and he would have been the #1 option, rather than the committee approach we've seen thus far.

I also do think Choice and Dye (if he's ever healthy) will both end up being very good good at some point. The talent is there for those two.
