The offense will turn a huge page in the history of Clemson this season. The question last season was not the offense, but the defense. I hope that the run defense is solid because if the opponent cannot run the ball with success, it causes the opponent to become a 1-dimensional offense. Then the defense can pin their ears back and bring a pass rushing blitz and bust up their QB all night long. I cannot wait until.... WHO CARES! SPOT THE DARN BALL ALREADY!

Really exciting what he said about Randall bulking up. Me thinks Randall will be our secret sauce.
I hear you about our offense. I disagree, it was a problem in the games against teams with a defensive pulse. Uga, scar, va tech, and Pitt. SMU had a good offense, but their D was suspect. Texas held us in check most of the game but they relaxed and let us back in for a brief minute.

Except for Texas. They may have let up a little at one point but when we opened the O and went full air raid, they couldn’t stop it. Even when they knew it was coming. Even with the best secondary in the country.
I think that’s the key for the O to excel this year. Let Garrett be Garrett and run an air raid O. Let Cade be Cade and sling it all over the yard.

Plus, I'm thinking that Randall will be our #1 out of the back field while giving Gideon enough time to get his feet wet coming out of our back field, and that will give our back field a chance to have a legit One Two punch coming out of our back field. If that does happen with Cade showing even more improvement from last season, our offense will be unstoppable regardless of who we play. That's right, I just said that our offense will be unstoppable against whoever we play, and they will be bloody before the ball is kicked off in the second half wherever we play!!!

I have thought that too, however I ACTUALLY think its going to be EZ to start. Let's not forget that he was actually a highly recruited player coming out of high school. Add to the fact that he's got a full year in the system and it's an actual RB. Pass protect alone can be a concern Randall is still new, and Davidson a Freshman; to me at least at first it wouldn't suprise me to see EZ be the guy for a game or two. Not all the carries, but id say 60% of the snaps. But who knows? Summer camp will determine all of that and I can't wait to spot the ball!!!

One narrative repeated over and over on here is how it was the defense’s fault we lost to SC. Yes, having Sellars run all over the field was horrible and down right embarrassing. However, SC only scored 17 points. Holding a team to 17 points should be more than enough to win a football game. If the offense executes a few more plays we win in spite of the defensive breakdowns.
I have very little doubt that our offense will be much improved. They really do have the potential to be among the best in the nation.

Part of our offensive struggles was that we kept trying to run an obviously injured Mafah. We should’ve but Haynes or Eziomume in.

I agree about Randall. If his ball handling is good enough, can you imagine him returning kicks at the size he is now?

I actually believe that Tom Allen will have the problems with last year's Defense fixed by the time that LSWho comes to play in the only Death Valley in Clemson South Carolina. They will get to feel what it's like to be murdered in the real Death Valley, and they will never again be confused about where the real Death Valley really is, it's where fake teams come to die!!!

Inside the 20 yard line with less than 30 seconds on the clock against the Coots.
Just saying….

I'm thankful he's progressed.
It takes a QB with moxie to win a natty
All QB's who win a natty have " it ".
An intangible trait that is the signature of a champion.
" It " has eluded him until now. This very moment. He's ready.
He finally has a reason to be optimistic. The offense is loaded for bear.
He probably goes to sleep every night with a big grin on his face.
Hasn't always been that way. Cade has worked his *** off to get here as has been well documented.
He's to be commended for his work ethic and we are fortunate to have him.
With a complimentary defense there is no reason we shouldn't once again stand-alone the mountaintop of college football and be the envy of programs across the nation.

Hate to say it he’s a good qb but he doesn’t have that it factor and that win at all cost to him like dw4 or tl16. Kid pissed down his leg and threw an int against the ##### in our house to end the game. That is unacceptable. I’m about sick of this losing to the coots every other year thing we are doing lately. He’s been nothing but mediocre against teams that have a slightly above average defense.

Not the case completely. There were some issues with offense last season, no doubt about it. 14 points against Carolina (on 2 Klubnik runs) and then a sort of Death blow - stuffed on fourth down in the red zone to give the ball right back to Carolina. The O and the D were not complementary.
