win best of 6 (home & away)...knowing what we know now and could make changes (##### not having Shaw & Lattimore as was the case last night).
And, if you added Shaw & Lattimore to the mix how many would Clemson win?

But anyway, that kind of thinking is silly. In college football you get one shot at a team. You get a week to prepare. Up to coaches to prepare and up to players to execute.

Well lets see you did play Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Wofford, East Carolina, UAB, missouri and Tenn. Not that's a schedule to be proud of right there, also! Less than the ACC!

Yeah, the same bad Tenn. team that beat NC State by 2 touch downs. That same Vandy team that has 8 wins. Arky last year #6 in the BCS, new coach for the season. Wofford a team Clemson only beat by 8 the last time they played.

Why do you torture yourself with what if's? You play them one time a year. This is not the World Series,or the NBA Finals. They have won the last 4.That means 2 at Willy B.and 2 at the Valley.Does not get any more simple than that. Did not have Shaw and Lattimore 4 years ago,did they?Care to rethink that one? Or do you need to replace a lightbulb?

Honestly, I think we'd go about 2-4. Next year, I would expect to fare better, since our D will have grown up a bit more and added some talent on the DL.

Spurrier is just a better coach than Dabo and co. The whole first half they kept running the zone read and giving it to the RB even though we were stuffing it almost every time. In the second half we collapsed on the RB and Thompson was able to get some huge gains. Unlike Chad, Spurrier is patient and doesn't panick and stays with the game plan setting up big plays.

You're probably going to call me names, but most of those long runs by their QB on third-and-long were not zone reads. They were scrambles aided by gross holding that was not being called. They held so dayum much, I think the refs just quit calling a bunch of them because it would have been every single dadgum play.

Haha not a name caller plus you are a fellow Tiger fan. I agree many of those big runs were just scrambles but he did have a few big runs off the QB keeper on the zone read in the second half.

Actually that 3rd and 19 was a QB draw. It was a run all the way because your secondary was playing man-to-man and were not looking for the run play. No scramble.

I actually think that Spurrier was just trying to get into field goal range on the 3rd and 19 play. But it really opened up because of the man defense. A healthy Shaw likely would have scored on the play with his speed.
One obvious hold I saw was on Thompson's long touchdown run. T.J. Johnson pretty much tackled your lineman, and it unquestionably changed the play. The official called it. This was on the critical drive that put USC up 10, so I'm not sure when the officials supposedly "stopped " calling holding.

It's sad to admit, but as long as Spurrier is there, we won't win again. He has Dabo's number.

So you joined this week, and say Clemson won't ever beat USCe as long as Spurrier is there?
Why even bother putting Tiger in your handle? Probably thought you were being smart, huh? Sorry coot, we'll always be MUCH smarter than you. Now run along.

the first game. Shaw and Lattimore insignificant to the outcome. Clemson would at least one game regardless.
