There’s a part of me that wants to believe that the coaches are jumping ship because Day did something illegal to build that team and sanctions will be coming down sooner or later. But that part of me also just hates Ohio state and wants to see them do bad no matter what.

I can't imagine what they would sanction as basically everything is legal or at least overlooked by the NCAA. Tampering and play for play is now the norm. Before the season, Day gave his boosters a number he needed, over and above what they were already giving to NIL, for them to have a chance at a Natty. I believe the number was $15M and they easily raised the money. The rest his history. We can also point to Texas, Auburn and UGA as teams who spent a ton of money but came up empty. What we know for sure is a team cannot choose to participate in upfront payments and have a chance at the Natty.

Skallywags leaping from the pirate ship with all the booty they can carry before the navy comes in and sinks it.....could be a harbinger of OSU legal trouble.

Although, how in the heck can there be any such thing as a recruiting violation in this environment today? Is there any such thing as an inappropriate monetary gift or bad contact? Is it really that bad if you buy cocaine and hookers for your players? I mean is anything short of murder illegal for a college football team to do now? What would be the justification to charge one team with violations and not all of them? It's a huge joke.


Please don't give this a serious answer.
