Yes we made a great play on the fumble but have to temper our excitement with the fact that BC moved the ball straight down the field and made the bad snap. We certainly could have wound up with a stop or it could have gone the other way. We have to do a better job on both sides of the ball.

Did the secondary have any Passes Defended, or were all of BC's incompletions over-throws, under-throws, or drops?

There were two interceptions which are considered "havoc plays" from DBs.

Yep. And IIRC there were at least 2 more passes defended

But BC completed a lot more passes than I would have expected.

With newly found power running, why a speed option?

Third and one with less than 2 minutes left, what a pitiful call, like the last pass against N.C. State, these were calls by a loser. We lost against N.C. State, then we almost lost against B.C. This play caller needs to lose his job as play caller, who ever it was. Elliot? Dabo? Streeter? This team needs to lose Chad Morris type O. and gain the identity of power team. no more RPO's or anything NOT GOINING FORWARD EXCEPT FOR DROP BACK PASSING, EVEN THEN, D.J. needs to move up in the pocket. GO TIGERS, OUTPOWER OPPONENTS LEAVING NO DOUBT.

This isn't Chad Morris offense. I WISH this was Chad Morris's offense. We'd be running pistol with 2 back sets motion all over the place, attacking the middle of the field. Running off tackle. Stretching the defense thin. This is analytics offense which is boring and can't account for situations of the game happening in front of you

O.K. so this isn't a Chad Morris O. You did not answer my question? Whatever O. we had depended on fast quick QB's, which we do not have now. D.J. is powerful and is more of a power runner as our new 2 R.B.s, Why not change our O. to fit their talents?

I just don't know how you can say there was offensive progress made and the offense did enough to push the Tigers to the win. Oh excuse me ,I left out the two key words "this time". I could also say that "this time" Boston College did enough to help Clemson with the victory by turning the ball over 3 times and having at least 5 false start penalties. Maybe if N.C. State had done that we might have won up there. But they missed 3 field goals and still won. So where is the progress?

If you watched how horrible the offense was against NCST then you would have to agree we improved against BC. The offense needs to finish drives but last week we at least put together a few drives. While not perfect the offensive line was better. Both RB’s ran tough. The wide receivers need a lot of attention. They look soft.

But man oh man, Murphy was beating his guy about 75% of the time. While his stats weren’t eye-popping, he was every bit as disruptive as XT. Shout out to Ennius as well. He looked like our best overall TE in my view.

on the issues at hand. After 4 games ( the SC State doesn't count ) it evident development is the culprit. I don't care how it attempted to spun at this point in the season you just don't have dumb penalties regardless if it's a backup player. It's a development problem when you have receivers running lazy routes and simply don't block. It's a development issue when you see a little bit of fire in the players for a hand full of plays but not for every play and no consistency. It's a development problem when a Backup QB from your opponent throws for over 300 yards. It's a development problem when all of your conference teams do not stack up in recruiting but can not only stay in the game with you but have an opportunity to win. Maybe, just maybe a deep internal self evaluation of the development of the highly prized recruits are needed without stubbornness. Don't let these kids down without reaching their FULL potential. If they refuse to be developed then it's next man up.

Yes, that was BC's backup QB. I suppose that's why we were favored by 16! ?? And though we racked up some decent yardage and first downs, we had one TD at home. Hey, everyone but Bama has an off year and I can accept that but the kind of games we've played could set recruiting back a couple years.
