I want to know, b/c I spend the money to watch us win in Atlanta. How are we not able to compete in the ACC with Dabo and his pedigree?

…and Tech wins.
Considering what has happened to Clemson in the aftermath of that game, I’m left thinking that Tech may not be as good as their record shows. How could Clemson have played as well as they did on the road against a now 8-0 Tech team?
Does Tech have five (5) 5-star players on the field at every play? I don’t think so, but apparently they have been using using the portal more than Clemson. What is the profile of the players that Tech pulled from the portal?
In looking at their portal players, I saw 24 players with one (1) 4-star player. The rest were 3-stars. So, it seems like player talent should not have been an issue here.
Clemson should have been able to outplay and win that game against Tech.
My conclusion here is that this Clemson team was/is NOT well coached. While I would love to see Georgia Tech’s player payroll, I am not of the opinion that Tech is running a $30M payroll as Ohio State, Oregon, & Texas A&M is funding.
Unfortunately, again, either this Tech team is NOT as good as their record shows, or Clemson has got some really bad coaching.

Again, statistically Clemson does not win the rushing yardage against Syracuse, but is marginally better in passing by 85 yards, with a badly timed interception.
To lose that HOME game by effectively 2 touchdowns does border, but not quite, on the loss to Wake Forest that got Tommy Bowden fired.
Dabo should not be fired for that Syracuse debacle in Death Valley, but reaction to that loss can nothing less than…
…and requires some “come to Jesus” reflection.

They beat us on a last second field goal. We all know we could have/ should have beat Ga Tech and LSU. I honestly believe that those 2 games ripped the heart out of this year’s team. Even after that, that should not be an excuse for these sub par performances, but we are dealing with kids and they have showed that those 2 games defined 2025.

The pressure is off, and the bye week allows the staff to have a come-to-Jesus moment with the team, because we have quite a challenge ahead of us to win out, which should be the goal.

RU sure, from what I'm reading here, we could afford to buy their entire offensive line. I'd be watching them every weekend before deciding on the purchase. It is no different from buying a car.

You can't go by one year. Georgia Tech's having a good year, but they haven't proven yet that they can have sustained success.
This year is a bad year for Clemson. It doesn't necessarily mean that it will be that way over the next couple of seasons.
