Any chance we see LaVonta play in the middle. Hope he gets to play a lot. We can rotate our entire D every other series and not miss a beat. Lol.

I actually have some confidence in the OL going into this year whereas I had none last year. If they can keep the lineup intact and gel, I see good things ahead.

I agree. I understand people have bashed the offensive line for years but these past few Clemson has amassed some top talent. I mean a large number of these guys are Top 300 guys in their respective classes with quite a few top 100 guys. I like the direction it's going. This may be the biggest as far as weight in a starting offensive line we have ever had. Extremely excited to see how these guys play. If these guys can make DJ comfortable I really really believe we can win another National Championship but this offense is only going to go as far as this offensive line. I have a large amount of faith in these guys though.

probably there is pretty even competition at those positions, coaches may be waiting till gametime decision or how they do in practice this week. Limits reaction questions on why a "starter" was pulled last minute

EXACTLY!!!! That let's the guys know that the competition isn't over until the final second before they run out on to the field in Atlanta. It' shows that every little extra effort this week may be the difference between running out first or second. Also Dabo's mind frame is when the competition is that close he considers guys starters. He doesn't judge it by who starts first but how many snaps you play which is why he'll say this guy or that guy will play starter minutes that who runs out first is irrelevant. Look I hate what we have become today as a society and truly believe we are on a fast track to #### but I also believe when you live in a culture as we do today that we start seeing woke-ness everywhere. I do it to. You start seeing it everywhere and sometimes that isn't the case especially when it comes to this team and this coach. I know Dabo has broke down and done thinks during these past few years a lot of us don't agree with but we have to understand the impossible situation he is in as well. I think "grace" is a word we need to practice more. Not just in the sense of yourself but allowing it for others as well.

Since our depth at rb is so strong this year, it gives us the ability to add our most explosive players on kickoff returns. Old school philosophy. Gotta love it.

Really almost unprecedented ....my ONLY question
about Monday night’s game is how soon Dabo starts
major substitutions and the game turns into a scrimmage.

Thanks ... the print out wouldn’t load at first and the verbiage in the story only listed Putnam with no listed back-ups. The print out of course does show the expected names.
