We are now in the evaluation phase for the next round of realignment. It’s unlikely success from 2015-2020 is going to carry weight when FSU and Miami are surging. We are playing our way into long term irrelevance.

Given the way we’ve played, why would they want us? Don’t point to Vandy, they’re 3-0 and look/play better than we do.

This program is done if we don't get to the P2. Our football programs sucking could not come at a worse time. And yes, based on on our talent, we are sucking right now and have been for several years.

While true, let's not forget that FSU was a two win team last year. So things can turn around QUICK.

They also created the problem of 2024 by using the tactic that they did for success of 2023.
Committing a program to relying upon the portal is a commitment to a lifetime in Train Schizophrenia.
Everyone hears about a rags-to-riches team that was built through the portal.
We forget those seasons of misery at TX A&M aka the Portal Kings for a few years. TX A&M is winning now, so the bandwagon is overflowing. When they stank using the portal, the bandwagon was empty.

I have been thinking this exact thing. The B1G especially, needs quality teams. Too many NWs and Purdues and Rutgers. Clemson doesn’t bring a massive state like Florida St would to offset any lack of quality play. It seems like Clemson is falling off a bit at the most inopportune time. They have to get back to the top 10 level. The bright side is, FSU turned things around drastically in 1 season. Perhaps Clemson can do the same.

Expansion is not about recency bias.
