And, so far, the way we have played against teams with a pulse tells you why. It will take an effort and execution that we haven’t produced this season to pull the upset.
I’m hopeful but certainly not overly optimistic.

No one is foolish enough to disagree with those picks. We have done nothing against better teams this year that would lead us to believe otherwise. If I was a betting man, I’d bet my paycheck we cover the spread, but I would not bet one penny that we win outright.

This is one game I probably wouldn’t bet because the variables and intangibles in this one seem more unpredictable than most.

Realistically, why would they as on paper Texas will win easily on their home field. We will need to play our best game of the season and have a few breaks go our way to have a chance.

stop with the denial, we are not near as talented as Texas. At LB outside of Brown, we are very average. Woodaz is not fast enough to cover the Texas perimeter game we will see. Carter has been a liability all year trying to tackle in open space. We are ranked 60ish in total defense, they are ranked 3rd and 1st against the pass, only giving up 149 yards per game. We are really missing talent and speed from a running back standpoint. Reality hurts but the talent gap will be on display tomorrow especially from a depth standpoint.

we have no one to run with, Mafah right now is about as fast as a 300lb lineman and cant run over people since he is hurt now. Texas knows this and will load up against the pass.

What has Clemson shown them recently that they can beat a Top 10 team and don't point to SMU?
They are only one season removed from the Group of 5. Gotta start winning those games again to change the narrative.

Without a mobile QB, don't think Texas is going to generate the points that these people expect.
I think we hit some plays down the field while pressuring their QB into some turnovers.

Who cares what ESPN says, but if I were betting on this game I'd pick Texas too.
We can't stop the run and our 2 best RB's are injured, so I don't realistically expect to win.
