The contract really calls for 60 games over a 12 year span. Most years it would be 5.

In a 5 year time period Clemson probably them more than any other ACC team. I wish we didn’t have to play them and former ACC commish should have required ND to come in as a full member.

in the 2020 ACC champ game as one of their required 60 which gave them some future wiggle room.

No that year had nothing to do with the contract. They play six games next year (23) and the reason for only 4 this year.

Since ND started playing ~5 ACC games per year, the Irish have a better ACC winning percentage than any ACC team not named Clemson. Playing ND has been a boost to the schedule of every ACC team including Clemson. Like most, I would like to see ND in the league, but that seems unlikely.
