I've heard chatter about Brandon Streeter. Would be good to have a tough guy like him working on the running game with DW.

Plus Streeter has been an outstanding OC on the FCS level. He'd be a good asset to Jeff.

If Scott is the choice for OC as is starting to float around

Dec 2, 2014, 1:47 PM

Streeter would seem to be a good fit. Was a grad asst here I believe when Scott played and maybe even when Dabo was an assistant. Son of a HS coach

yep, could be next OC in waiting too, if Scott is promoted

and finds success as our OC.

I think our next OC is walking in to a gold mine

Dec 2, 2014, 1:53 PM

not only all the skill, but the best OL class in school history. Offense should be prolific. Not the worst reputation to have for attracting coaching talent is guys moving on the HC gigs

People should be talking to Ecu to get their Oc Riley. They play the same offense style. They play the same teams we play scar, nc ,nc state. They have less talent less depth and score more points on average than we do on those teams. Look at the past 3 years against the same teams. Morris had way way more talented players but less points on average.

ECU's spread is not the same as ours

Dec 2, 2014, 2:07 PM

Riley is from under Leach and the Air Raid system. Does not focus on running the ball as much as we want to. Ours is from the Mahlzahn spread. Our desire is to ru8n first, and that's not Riley's system. That's why he is not the right fit. The Air Raid system has never won big at the major school level. Leach came the closest at TT but thyey were never a national player like Oregon, Auburn and now Baylor who all run extremely well. That's what we want to be
