Point of Order! Lesson in political semantics...

Trump is NOT the democratically elected president. He was elected a REPUBLICAN method with the vote of representatives(electors), not by popular vote. Most Presidents are DEMOCRATICALLY elected with a majority of the POPULAR vote as well as the electors, but in this case Trump lost the popular vote, but won the representative vote, so he can NOT be considered DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED! Sorry, we once had this discussion in political science class about Rutherford B. Hayes(another minority vote President).

Lesson 2 in political semantics...

The U.S. has never been a democracy. It has always been a democratic republic. I hope you learned that in your political science class. The electoral college was created to prevent things such as the Clinton Archipelago. http://www.vividmaps.com/2016/12/trumpland-and-clinton-archipelago.html?m=1 You aren't nearly as clever as you are.

what in the heck does that have to do with an election being decided by an electoral college instead of a popular vote?

Notice the states in purple, those are the states where NEITHER candidate got 50% of the vote, so the state was awarded to the one with the most votes. Like it or not, Trump is a minority President with fewer popular votes than his opponent(over 2,000,000 less) and elected by an archaic system that could easily be replaced under modern technology to allow electors to replicate actual state votes by rounded percentage instead of the current winner-take all, which robs large numbers of the citizens of their votes. Otherwise we could do it the fair way, and give California 100 electoral votes to reflect their actual population and let them run the country, which nobody wants.

FSU would be foolish to fire Jimbo even though I think he's a chump. He did win a Natty. They could do a lot worse.

ESPN has already proven that Jemelle Hill can do anything she wants and get away with it.

You realize the Jimmy Haslam, owner of the Browns is a Tennessee alum and a big time Vols doaner and supporter. (It has been speculation that haslam is funding the Butch Jones buyout.)
